A business executive with over three decades of corporate leadership experience, Jeff is responsible for all aspects of the CareerBuilder business and operations. He joined CareerBuilder in January 2018 as Vice President and was charged with reducing the company’s cost structure and speed its return to growth. During his tenure, he has brought significant value through his leadership in managing costs, business divestitures, and as a member of the executive leadership team.
Prior to CareerBuilder, Jeff led Fortune 100 and 500 corporate operating functions for American Express and Tyco International/Johnson Controls. He had a 20-year career at American Express leading multiple large operating functions through 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis. He also spent three years with Tyco in similar roles supporting customer and strategic objectives while also working on the company’s executive transition team for the merger with Johnson Controls. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL.
Jeff is a member of the CareerBuilder Board of Directors and works from his home in North Carolina.

Dinesh knows firsthand how technology creates possibilities for both job seekers and employers. A senior product development executive with extensive experience leading diverse teams to deliver high-quality products and services, Dinesh joined CareerBuilder in 2018 as Vice President of Engineering before taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer in October 2020. Prior to joining CareerBuilder, Dinesh held leadership roles in Human Resources and Human Capital Management engineering and technical program management at SumTotal Systems and Oracle. Dinesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Delhi University and a Business Administration degree from Birla Institute of Management and Technology.
If you weren't a CTO, what would your dream job be? Teaching at a college!
What drives and motivates you? The desire to do better every day.
What is your favorite part about your job? Working with such a talented team located around the world.
How did you make your first dollar? Tutoring math to high schoolers.

Ahern is focused on ensuring CareerBuilder's customers are happy and the company's operations are healthy. Ahern has been with CareerBuilder since 2020 in various finance capacities, most recently as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining CareerBuilder, he held leadership roles at Uptake, Follett and Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University.
If you weren't at CareerBuilder, what would your dream job be? Astronomer or kicker for the Green Bay Packers
How did you make your first dollar? I grew up on a dairy farm — my first dollar probably came from cleaning out calf pens.
Favorite quote? I have three that I live by. Every day is a new beginning. Seek progress not perfection. Be brave enough to suck at something new.

Brian believes that people are the most important asset of any successful organization. Before joining CareerBuilder as Assistant General Counsel for Employment, Brian spent 14 years in the private practice of law, advising management on labor and employment compliance and litigation issues. He assumed the role of VP, Human Resources, in February 2023. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science from Butler University and received his Juris Doctor from University of Illinois College of Law.
If you weren't a lawyer or VP of human resources, what would you be? A baseball coach

A trusted business partner with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and private practice experience, Mark has counseled boards of directors, executive officers and corporate function leaders on matters relating to governance, compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, finance, litigation, commercial transactions, labor and employment, and intellectual property.
Prior to joining CareerBuilder in April 2019, Mark held legal positions at Knowles Corporation, Molex, Boeing, Schiff Hardin, and Mayer Brown. Prior to that he was special counsel to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Mark holds a Bachelor in Government and International Relations from Georgetown University and received his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
If you weren't a lawyer what would you be? A rancher somewhere out west.
What's something new you've learned recently? I am trying sports that I never played when I was a kid but that my children are now playing, like lacrosse, soccer, platform tennis and softball.
